This cigar is very different than my usual smokes. The “Cut and a light” starts up with some fruity sweetness. Into the first third, I’m getting like a liqueur infused fruit cake flavor. Very vivid flavors. There’s a cheeky sweetness, coffee, milk chocolate, espresso, dark maraschino cherry, and a hint of cedar. The flavor profile is more pronounced in the second third but consistent. It has a wavy burn and the ash fell off at about an inch. Seems full flavor, full body. A slight bitterness in the aftertaste. A smooth peppery retro hale. Almost seems like an infused cigar. If I smoked this without knowing what it was, I’d probably guess it to be an acid cigar. The final third is full strength. The second band was glued on very well. It smoked pretty fast almost like a short filler. I wouldn’t know how to rate this because it’s so far out of my wheel house. It seems unnatural. Less than an hour on the smoke time. I probably won’t buy this again. I want to say there’s some mint in the final third, but it was very light. It seems like it could be compared to a BBQ’d fruit cake using liquid smoke. You could choke up on the smoke if you let it too deep into the back of your mouth. (Yea, that’s what she said) The burn line gets better in the last third and the ash held on a little longer but not much. A very dry cigar like it’s begging for humidity. Over puffing this doesn’t seem to ruin the flavors much. It had a slightly reduced smoke output, but a solid fell like it was well packed and rolled.
