The construction is good, the draw is great, and it burns well. But… way too sweet. And in my opinion, it’s not a good sweet. It is like they soaked the tobacco in artificial sweetener and rosewater. I get this super artificial sweet rosewater taste/smell in the retrohale. I forced myself to smoke the whole thing because I paid for the Cigar. I was hoping it would get better and more balanced if I smoked it longer. The last third was slightly better with hints of leather, etc. I was surprised because other reviews were positive. I was expecting a little sweet, but wow! If you enjoy these more power to you, but it’s not my thing. Is the rest of the deadwood line like this? Let me know. I wanted to like these.
