Another hit out of the Park for CD, while this cigar is excellent and i love it and will be adding it to my rotation, the round variants in my opinion are way better that this one. In general, this is was a pleasant smoke, i had the Robusto variant and aside from part of the cap not being glued down upon taking it out of the cellophane the cigar was excellent, i did need to dry box it for a few hours as it seems to have gotten a bit to over humidified on its way here. The profile is very similar to the round version enough to taste that it was made from the same stuff, the flavors however seemed a bit more muted in the flat one vs the round. While this is not a deal breaker for me it does mean that my enjoyment (which was very enjoyable) of it was not as much as it was with the round. My takeaway from this is that both shapes are amazing, especially for an exclusive blend but to me and my tastes the round variants are more defined and rounded (no pun intended) than the box-pressed variant. I would recommend this blend to people i have several times and look forward to other CD Daily Edition projects !
